Summer is my absolute favorite season! I love the long days filled with sunshine and more chances to spend time with family and friends. Going to the beach brings me so much joy. I enjoy getting to soak in the sun, having my feet in the warm sand, and looking out onto the beauty of the ocean. I look forward to going every year.

 My husband, Steve, and I had the opportunity to vacation at the beach with my family this year. This is the first family trip our son, Luke, has been on. We were all grateful to be together again for the first time since Luke was four days old (he is now six months old!). I loved getting to see Luke interact with his two older cousins, Aunt, Uncle, and Mom Mom and Pop Pop. His older cousins are so sweet with him and I am excited to watch them become friends as they grow up together. We enjoyed some quality time with one another and made some fun memories. Ticket to Ride is a game we have been enjoying as a family! Last year on our family beach trip I got to announce to some of my family that I was pregnant, which was exciting!

I had fun taking some family pictures on the beach (thank goodness for tripods!) Capturing these moments is important because these babies keep growing up fast. It is nice to freeze time to remember this season when they are 6 months, 2 years old, and 6 years old. Even with the little light we had left after dinner, we were able to capture some fun memories.

Now the leaves are changing and the smell of fall is in the cool crisp air. As much as I love summer, I am ready for the newness fall brings. I am also getting so excited to celebrate the holidays and to see my son experience each new holiday and season as it comes
